Reclosable Films

NORDENIA has developed a co-extruded film that has a permanently adhesive layer and thus replaces mechanical reclosure systems, such as zippers or snap-on lids.

The co-extruded reclosable film consists of a backing layer, a permanently adhesive sealing layer, and an intermediate adhesive layer. When the sealed packaging is opened, the adhesive layer is exposed and thus enables reclosure.

The film can be used on all common packaging machines, such as deep-drawing or Flow Pack machines. It can be sealed with backing films made of PE, EVA, PA, etc. and laminated using all common technologies. Its areas of application are, for example, the packaging of cheese, sausage and cold cuts, or snacks.
