Barleben/Steinfeld, Mar 12, 2008. Matthias Burgardt is the new Managing Director of NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL SERVICES GmbH. Following Reinhard Wagner’s retirement from the company, Burgardt, who has a Master in Industrial Engineering, succeeded him as head of the IT service provider at the beginning of this year. The company has its headquarters in Barleben, near Magdeburg.
The IT service provider supports its international customers, who operate mostly in the film and packaging industry, with two data processing centers in Germany and a comprehensive IT service portfolio. Forty-five employees work at five German sites.
NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG (www.nordenia.com), an international manufacturer of flexible packaging, technical films, and product components, is NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL SERVICES GmbH ‘s largest customer. “In the future, we will support the strategy of the NORDENIA Group even more intensely with our IT services," Matthias Burgardt says, describing a crucial cornerstone of the company’s objective. Burgardt, who has held several leading IT positions with different international industrial enterprises throughout the past 17 years, has been working at NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL SERVICES GmbH since October 2007.
The former Managing Director, Reinhard Wagner, has become Managing Partner of Demand Software Solutions GmbH, the IT company that developed the Genesis4Web ERP system. The system has been awarded with the “Innovation Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses” several times.
