Award for NORDENIA: Procter & Gamble Business Partner Excellence Award

This year NORDENIA enters an elite circle of companies, by receiving a Procter & Gamble’s Business Partner Excellence Award, P&G is the world´s largest consumer goods manufacturer. The award was presented at a festive ceremony in Cincinnati (Ohio), where P&G’s headquarters are situated.

Diaper components are among the products NORDENIA supplies to P&G.
In total 86 companies out of the 75,000 global P&G suppliers were honored with the coveted award. This represents approximately the top 0.1% of P&G´s global supply base. The ceremony was attended by NORDENIA CEO Ralph Landwehr, Tim Stoltz, Global Sales Director – P&G, and Georg Baldauf, Director Componentry Business. NORDENIA business partnership with P&G spans nearly 30 years, in the use of diaper components, film and packaging materials for the production of a variety of P&G products.

Bob McDonald, P&G’s President and Chairman of the Board, praised the companies honored: “I want to commend the awardees for the strategic role they play to help us win in the market place and serve our consumers better than anyone else,” he said at the event in Cincinnati. “These partnerships are powerful because they are focused on a common purpose - to touch and improve people's everyday lives.”

Rick Hughes, Chief Purchasing Officer at P&G, emphasized the role of the business partners:”Our external business partners are an important part of the Company’s ability to innovate and grow, and critical to the work we do at P&G every day”. Every consumer who uses a P&G brand benefits from these relationships, he added.
