NORDENIA Sells Shares in NORDENIA MOROCCO

NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG sells its 83.4 percent of the shares in NORDENIA MOROCCO Casablanca S.A.R.L. The purchasers are the funds managed by ALMAMED, Massinissa Maroc and Massinissa Lux. The contract has recently been signed and is expected to take effect in March 2010. The contractual parties have agreed to keep the purchase price strictly confidential.

"The sale of the shares in NORDENIA MOROCCO Casablanca S.A.R.L. is a further strategic step to reduce the organizational complexity and increase the concentration on our core business", is the reason given by Ralph Landwehr, Chairman of the Executive Board of NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG, for the sale of the shares. Within the NORDENIA Group great value is placed strategically on profitable growth. To reach this objective, one building block is to strive for 100 percent holdings in existing companies as well as in future acquisition projects.

NORDENIA MOROCCO Casablanca S.A.R.L. produces packaging films, technical films and printed plastic bags. These products are used as packaging material in the hygiene and cosmetics industries, in the cleaning products and detergent industry as well as in the food industry. Currently, NORDENIA MOROCCO Casablanca S.A.R.L. has approximately 50 employees.
