Pioneers in Hygiene Standards

NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Gronau has – as one of the first companies in Germany – become certified under the DIN EN 15593:2008 standard for its exemplary hygiene management system. The certification fulfills the requirements of food industry customers.

Managing Director Wolfram Bruening from NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Gronau (fifth from left) and his team were happy to receive the new Hygiene Management Certificate from DQS editor Reinhard Grosse (fifth from right).
The German Association for the Certification of Management Systems DQS honored the biggest NORDENIA site for its exemplary adherence to hygiene regulations. In Gronau, NORDENIA produces, among other things, lamination films for the food industry and film packaging for the hygiene and pet food industry.

Handing over the certificate, the DQS especially honored the Gronau plant’s continuous advancement of its hygiene management system throughout the past years. For three years, the DQS has certified the plant’s adherence to hygiene regulations according to the HACCP concept (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) every year.
