NORDENIA MALAYSIA Ipoh is the NORDENIA Group´s first 100 percent equity participation in Asia. Purchasing the remaining shares of NORDENIA-THONG FOOK means continuing the internationalization strategy and strengthening the global positioning of one of the international leaders in the production and processing of films. In the future, Asia will be an important platform for the area of diaper and feminine hygiene components, in addition to the important segments of labeling films, stretch films, and flexible packaging for the consumer goods industry.
NORDENIA is planning to invest in the existing product range in a targeted manner in order to further expand its technological and market leadership. Philippe Bartoli will continue as Managing Director of the subsidiary in Malaysia, which employs more than 300 employees.
