World Class Production
Every company in the NORDENIA Group is obligated to set quality as first priority and to work on the continuous improvement of its own performance. The World Class Production (WCP) Program defines the standards for reliable production processes and product quality at our production sites. We constantly compare ourselves with exemplary companies of the industry.
Improvement of Quality and Machine Availability
With the World Class Production (WCP) Program, NORDENIA has implemented a system defining the standards for the continuous improvement of production processes and product quality. To improve the audit level and to assure that the defined standards of the WCP program are followed in practice, internal audits are conducted. The trainings of our employees worldwide about the standards, targets and problem solving skills are important elements of this program. This ensures that work is carried out in accordance to the same standards within all companies of NORDENIA’s international production sites. The objectives of the World Class Production program are the continuous improvement of machine availabilities, processes and product quality.

Preventive Maintenance and Kaizen
World Class Production (WCP) is a program which was especially developed for NORDENIA based on management philosophies and programs, which have successfully been proven in other industries. The Kaizen system is one important and leading part of our management philosophy. With the approach of continuous improvement, each employee has the opportunity of optimizing his or her workplace autonomously by bringing in own ideas. Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) is another important pile of the program with the objective to reduce unplanned downtime and repairs of our production machines. The intensive teamwork of all employees builds the basis for a successful preventive and autonomous maintenance.

Improvements by Audits
The future-oriented World Class Production Program has been introduced at all NORDENIA sites worldwide. The standards within the WCP program are defined in 4 audit levels build on each other. Over 450 individual classifications for levels I, II, III, and IV have already been awarded via audits. The objective within the program is a continuous improvement of the auditing standards up to level IV as well as ensuring the standards of already achieved audit levels by frequent re-audits.
