The concept of environmental protection is anchored in NORDENIA's company culture as a main aspect of sustainable business management. NORDENIA recognizes its share of the responsibility in maintaining natural foundations of life and the environment. Our objective is for our products and the connected processes to be not only of benefit to our customers, but also compatible with the environment. Observing environmentally relevant legal regulations and the conditions of the public authorities of the respective country is thus absolutely mandatory for NORDENIA.
Climate Protection
The continuous improvement of the efficient use of energy resources, the operation of closed cooling water circuit systems in the manufacturing procedures, minimization of the process-related emissions, measures to retain biodiversity, and the securing of our products during transport are just a few examples for our contribution to the protection of the climate.
Leading the Way
Since 2000, the companies of the NORDENIA Group have been certified according to the international environmental standard ISO 14001. Again and again, the sites have shown what they understand under environmental protection in practice. In the process, we have often led the way in the industry, for example, through the commissioning of an incinerating device for cleaning solvent-polluted exhaust air or a block-type heat and power plant in the early 1990s.
