 Laboratory
 The analytical laboratory uses the most up-to-date facilities to examine the optical, mechanical, and process-relevant properties of flexible films. The facilities include, e.g. infrared spectroscopy and infrared microscopy UV spectroscopy, gas chromatography, optical microscopy, measuring barrier, and mechanical properties, as well as moisture analyses. Along with the application of nationally and internationally accredited test and measuring processes, technologies are also developed jointly with customers to enable tests of materials under everyday conditions and in worst-case scenarios. |

 Technical Development Center
 Commercial processes can be represented on a smaller scale on the pilot facilities of the technical development center. Flexible blown and cast extruders for up to five-layer films, and laminating facilities for duplex/triplex composites, enable even unusual material combinations to be examined on a laboratory scale. This makes it possible to develop new composites with individual product properties quickly and to test their producibility well before the start of large-scale production. If adequate raw materials are not available on the market, they are made in the technical development center with laboratory compounders.
The development of modified or new production processes in many cases initially takes place on the easily modifiable pilot faculties before upscaling to production scale is carried out. |
